Hallo!
My name is Sarah, and I'm 18 years old! I'm from a small town in Southwest Michigan, and I'm living in Weingarten, Baden-Württemburg, Germany for the 2015-2016 school year. I have a cat and a twin, I love music, and I love languages! Being an exchange student has been my dream for years, and I can't believe it's finally happening.
I play clarinet, and was in my school band from 5th grade till graduation. I've also played piano for about 10 years. In the past I've swum competitively, played volleyball and softball, and run track, and now I do judo! I took Japanese in 10th and 11th grade, but あいにく, I've forgotten most of what I learned. I started German during 11th grade and have been learning since then! I want to learn a lot more languages in the future, including Arabic, Russian, Italian, and Korean. Besides that, I like to read, play board games, swim, and hang out with my friends.
This is a gap year for me, and when I go back I'm going to Michigan State University and majoring in Linguistics. My ultimate goal is to teach English around the world, and to keep travelling!
